Brant E. Victor, MD

Co-founder & Supervising Physician

Dr. Victor, one of eight children, grew up predominantly in South Carolina and California. He graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Biology and as a scholar athlete. He attended The University of Texas Medical School at Houston, graduating with awards including Outstanding Student in Surgery. Dr. Victor completed his surgical internship and residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. During residency, he was awarded a national grant as a surgical research fellow in gastrointestinal physiology, published several original articles and book chapters and presented at national meetings. Following residency training, he practiced in the Piedmont Triangle area in North Carolina before moving to Austin in 1993. He has been selected as a Super Doctor by Texas Monthly Magazine for over 20 years including Hall of Fame recognition, as an Austin Top Doctor by Austin Monthly Magazine, given Top Doctor status by US News & World Report and Castle Connolly, and listed in Who’s Who of American Surgery. He also won Surgeon of the Year by the Association of Operating Room Nurses Austin Chapter. Dr. Victor has served on a number of Austin area hospital and ambulatory surgery center committees. Dr. Victor is defined by a steadfast and heartfelt dedication and respect towards his patients, the privilege of working with his partners and the love of family.

Blythe Riddle, MPAS, PA-C

Blythe predominantly grew up in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, and moved to Austin, TX in 2024. For her undergraduate studies, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health from Texas A&M University, and then a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch, graduating with honors at both institutions. With a deep commitment to serving the Greater Austin community, Blythe brings a unique blend of compassion, humility, and resilience to every aspect of patient care. Focusing on delivering personalized, high-quality care, Blythe is passionate about making a tangible difference in patients' lives by fostering strong, trusting relationships and adapting to the evolving needs of mobile wound care to consistently ensure each patient receives the highest standard of treatment. Board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the Texas Medical Board, Blythe is actively involved in professional organizations, including the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, and Central Texas Physician Assistant Society. Outside of work, Blythe enjoys staying active, cooking, and spending quality time with her husband, two cats, and close family and friends, which helps her maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Rachel Palmeter, MSN, RN-BC, CWON

Rachel was born and raised in New Jersey and relocated to Austin, TX in 2018. She earned both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing Education at Thomas Edison State University. She holds certifications in Medical/Surgical Nursing and Gerontological Care. She has over 12 years of nursing experience in Trauma and many different Wound Care settings. Rachel is licensed by the Texas State Board of Nursing. She is a proud CWON through the Wound, Ostomy, Continence nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB). She is a member of the American Nurse's Assocation (ANA), the Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse (WOCN) Society, and The United Ostomy Association of America (UOAA). Rachel strives to provide patient-centered care and enjoys working with patients where they are most comfortable, in their homes. She is also passionate about education and health prevention. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys boating on Lake Travis, spoiling her cats and dog, puzzles, and arts and crafts.

Alex Victor, PA-C

Co-founder

Alex grew up in Austin, TX and is thrilled to be practicing in his hometown. He has nearly 10 years of experience as a PA in surgery and has had a passion for wound care in particular. He is dedicated to providing high quality patient care, focusing on prevention. When he is not working, Alex loves spending time with his wife, two children, and his dog. He graduated from Baylor University’s Honors College with undergraduate degrees in Biology and Chemistry. He then graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Physician Assistant Program with a Master’s Degree in PA Studies. He was awarded into the PA honor’s society Pi Alpha. He is licensed through the Texas Medical Board and holds accreditation through the National Commission on Certification for Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Alex is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants (TAPA), and the Central Texas Physician Assistant Society (CTPAS).

Amber Metoyer, FNP-C

Patient Management Coordinator

Amber grew up in Houston, TX, and moved to Austin, TX, to pursue her career in nursing. She has worked in the healthcare field for six years. Amber started her career in the hospital setting as a critical care nurse for three years before pursuing an advanced degree as an FNP. She is passionate about patient-centered care and determined to make all patients feel heard and supported. When she is not working, Amber enjoys reading books, outdoor activities, and spending quality time with friends and family. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with an undergraduate degree in nursing. She then achieved a Master’s Degree in FNP Studies from the Texas Woman’s University Family Nurse Practitioner Program. She was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. She is licensed through the Texas Board of Nursing and is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB).

Kim Patton, DNP, RN, CWON

Kimberly S. Patton is a highly experienced nursing professional with a passion for advancing patient care and clinical education. With a career spanning over 20 years, Kimberly has held key roles in healthcare leadership, specializing in wound and ostomy care, nursing education, and program development. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with an emphasis in educational leadership and is pursuing a Post Graduate Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner. As a Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse, Kimberly has provided expert care to patients and developed evidence-based training programs for clinicians. Her leadership in home health education has empowered nursing teams through innovative learning solutions and curriculum development. Kimberly has also authored award-winning research, contributing to advancements in wound care practices. Currently, Kimberly serves as a Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse at Victory Wound Care, where she provides advanced wound care to patients in their homes and utilizes cutting-edge therapies to enhance healing and patient outcomes.
