Board-certified Advanced Practice Providers (nurse practitioners and physician assistants), with physician oversight, treat chronic and complex wounds in patients' homes, independent living communities, and assisted living facilities. Medicare Part B may cover medically necessary wound care when eligibility criteria are met. Victory Wound Care is a mobile wound-care practice serving the Greater Austin metro since 2023. Care is delivered by Advanced Practice Providers within their scope of practice, with oversight from supervising physician Dr. Brant E. Victor, MD. We coordinate with each patient's primary care provider, specialists, home health agency, and assisted living staff when indicated.
